I have many oils and lubes from the gun market but for my Spydercos Ive always just used KPL Original 15w. Been wanting to try this for a while but couldn't pay the price. I ordered some bearings and got this tube for $5 as a add on. Seems just as good if not a little slicker than KPL. This is also a little thinner at 10w so it wicks into the cracks, washers & bearings alittle easier than the KPL Original.

Skiff Workshop is THE place to go if you're looking to upgrade your daily pocket knife bearings. I purchased the CDC & CountyComm Exclusive Collaboration D2 Hanson Wharny Knife which comes with nylon caged bearings. Customer service was very helpful with determining which size might fit best. The Pivot: 3/16" Ceramic Bearings: 1/16 in (12 ball) are near perfect. I used my mini-lathe to open up the ID of the pivot just a smidge and now the caged bearings fit perfectly. The knife opens more smoothly, with a nice crisp snap. I also ordered the Nano-Oil lube and I'm very pleased with how it performs. Lasts all week and resists quite a bit of the dust and build up from cutting open boxes and packaging from received palettes at work. I definitely will order again when needed.
