Cage bearings that allow more balls to be placed around the knife pivot than standard cage bearings. Which provides more support for the blade and decreasing stress on each ball. The ceramic balls are captured in the disc but are still free floating to prevent binding.
Includes Grade 5 ceramic bearings pre-installed.

First time switching over to skiff bearings was not expecting the major difference that occurred.
Do yourself a favor. Drop what you are doing and order a set of digital calipers from Amazon. When it arrives measure all your knives and find the appropriate Skiff bearing from their selection. The difference is amazing.
I have installed dozens of Skiffs in my knives and have never regretted it.
Excellent bearings. In some folding knives the difference between the original bearings and Skiffs is barely noticeable. Perhaps the original already used high quality bearings just not captive like Skiffs; in other knives the difference can be subtly sublime. Either way it’s to good know I have the best bearings in my knife.
