The new bearing compatibility list is now live, check it out here!
Cage bearings that allow more balls to be placed around the knife pivot than standard cage bearings. Which provides more support for the blade and decreasing stress on each ball. The ceramic balls are captured in the disc but are still free floating to prevent binding.
Includes Grade 5 ceramic bearings pre-installed.
- Increased blade support over caged bearings of same size
- Improved ball pathing around pivot
- Less pivot screw tightening required
- CNC machined from solid phosphor bronze

Cage Bearings - Pivot: 8mm Ceramic Bearings: 1/16 in (20 ball)
These are very well made parts. I used these on a Microtech MSI. I think they may be a little smoother than the factory parts, but there's not much difference.
I had recently purchased a factory second Microtech Amphibian Ram-Lok directly from their website - it came with an etched grenade logo on the blade to indicate that it wasn't "perfect". I could see NO defect anywhere, but the action of the blade closing was noticeably gritty. I ordered and installed the Skiff 8mm x (20) x 1/16" Rocket Glide Rings with an ID of 0.320" and an OD of 0.560" and the knife is now very much smoothed out. BTW - the factory bearings are encased in white nylon plastic - I feel much better about having phosphor bronze! What once was a case of buyers remorse changed to a feeling that I had got myself a great deal. I have previously upgraded 2 Demko AD20.5 knives, and my personal grail AD20S in CPM S45VN as well, so I knew beforehand to expect excellence! Love your products...
Purchased these for the new Microtech Socom Elite Ram-Lok and they fit perfectly! The action after installing these bearings is so buttery smooth. Can't recommend them enough. Skiffs go into any new knife I purchase!
Works great on my Microtech MSI!!!
