The new bearing compatibility list is now live, check it out here!

Cage bearings that allow more balls to be placed around the knife pivot than standard cage bearings. Which provides more support for the blade and decreasing stress on each ball. The ceramic balls are captured in the disc but are still free floating to prevent binding.

Includes Grade 5 ceramic bearings pre-installed.

  • Increased blade support over caged bearings of same size
  • Improved ball pathing around pivot
  • Less pivot screw tightening required
  • CNC machined from solid phosphor bronze

Best bearing on the market

These are the BEST caged Bearings you can put in your Pocket Knives. I have them in all of my 20+plus knives and they always make my knives smoother and easier to open. 5/5 stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Awesome Results After Installing These Bearings!!!

I am losing use of my right hand, which is my dominant hand. I could not open a flipper knife or even any of the push button options that I could find. After installing the Skiff bearings the action is so smooth that I can now open my favorite flipper with my right hand. Sounds like a simple thing, but for me it’s a really big deal to be able to use a knife with my dominant hand.

The material of the cage and bearings is second to none.

6mm Ceramic Bearings: 3/64" (17 ball) are the bomb!

I recently got a Chinese-made knife that has a 6mm pivot with 3/64" steel-ball caged bearings (9 balls). They're just Ok on smoothness, but not very well constructed as the blade would not center despite all my efforts (short of shimming one side). This is not a common bearing size and for a while Skiff didn't offer a compatible set. I was overjoyed to one day see that Skiff offered this size in a precision 17-ball set. After replaceing the OEM bearings with the Skiff's the action is now very smooth, and the blade is centered (yes!). The knife is now a pleasure to use. Thanks Steve for making and carrying this odd size.
