Cage bearings that allow more balls to be placed around the knife pivot than standard cage bearings. Which provides more support for the blade and decreasing stress on each ball. The ceramic balls are captured in the disc but are still free floating to prevent binding.
Includes Grade 5 ceramic bearings pre-installed.

I just wanted to say , that Skiff bearings do make a big difference in the the smoothness of the deployment of the knife blades . Especially in the big knife blades , they just slide right out like they were on ice . Even my less expensive knives feel like a much more a expensive quality. Mike

I have put Skiffs in most of my knives with bearings. The Slym ran surprisingly bad oob. After disassembly I found no lubricant. With Skiffs and some Knife Butter it runs as it should. Recommended.
