Cage Bearings - Pivot: 3/16" Ceramic Bearings: 3/32" (11 ball)
The new bearing compatibility list is now live, check it out here!
Cage bearings that allow more balls to be placed around the knife pivot than standard cage bearings. Which provides more support for the blade and decreasing stress on each ball. The ceramic balls are captured in the disc but are still free floating to prevent binding.
Includes Grade 5 ceramic bearings pre-installed.
- Increased blade support over caged bearings of same size
- Improved ball pathing around pivot
- Less pivot screw tightening required
- CNC machined from solid phosphor bronze

I've tried other bearings for this knife (won't mention the other companies) and I don't know if I just received duds, but I couldn't get a good action out of this knife to save my life until I put in the skiffs. It's turned it into a whole new knife.
Best in the market.
As usual skiff takes an already smooth knife action, and makes it that much better.
These are made soooo much better than the oem KVT bearings in my ZT 0562. The factory bearings had 7 steel bearings in a plastic housing compared to 11 ceramic (won’t rust) bearings in a thick and sturdy phosphor bronze housing. With the oem bearings it was smooth and dropped shut fine but in the partially open position you could feel the blade wobble with side to side play because of the lack of lateral support. In the partially open position the bearings are the only thing supporting the blade. With the Skiffs it’s still very smooth and drops shut but now it’s had solid with no side to side play in the partially open/closed position.
Bought the ZT0801 and it showed up with rusted bearings the Skiffs resurrected the action in short order. My Crux has always been a little sluggish and again Skiff bearings were the right choice.
