Cage bearings that allow more balls to be placed around the knife pivot than standard cage bearings. Which provides more support for the blade and decreasing stress on each ball. The ceramic balls are captured in the disc but are still free floating to prevent binding.
Includes Grade 5 ceramic bearings pre-installed.

I owned a ZT 0470 in 2019. I loved the knife, and it was almost drop-shut. Skiff had not yet updated their Bearing Compatibility chart for that knife, and I didn't want to purchase the wrong size. Recently, the opportunity came around to own another 0470, and I checked the chart again, and voila, it was there. I bought and installed the bearings, and now my 0470 is perfect--flicks open with authority, and drops shut when closing.
