The new bearing compatibility list is now live, check it out here!
Cage bearings that allow more balls to be placed around the knife pivot than standard cage bearings. Which provides more support for the blade and decreasing stress on each ball. The ceramic balls are captured in the disc but are still free floating to prevent binding.
Includes Grade 5 ceramic bearings pre-installed.
- Increased blade support over caged bearings of same size
- Improved ball pathing around pivot
- Less pivot screw tightening required
- CNC machined from solid phosphor bronze

As many reviews say, they have a break in period. I watched a few YouTube videos as well and I was a little disappointed that my bearings didn’t come pre-oiled as all the videos showed but not a big deal since I have a bottle of KPL. At first I felt no difference in the skiff till I played with my knife (demko ad20.5) for about an hour. It now slides a tiny bit smoother than before but the big difference I feel is the blade now feels like it’s on a track which improves the quality feel of the opening/closing of my knife. That’s my explanation anyways. Very well made, fully caged 19 ceramic bearings just as described. The price point is perfect too, it’s an upgrade that won’t hurt your pocket and you won’t regret.
It is a pretty good improvement for the Demko 20.5 but don't be scared of taking the knife apart. I've read that people say it isn't easy to reassemble. I can assure you it is.
Perfect upgrade to most knives. Quality built with attention to detail.
I just put these in my Demko AD 20.5 (because I've customized every other piece of the knife so why not!) and the opening/closing is smooth as can be. Soooooooooooo glad I heard about these bearings. Thanks!!
great
