Cage bearings that allow more balls to be placed around the knife pivot than standard cage bearings. Which provides more support for the blade and decreasing stress on each ball. The ceramic balls are captured in the disc but are still free floating to prevent binding.
Includes Grade 5 ceramic bearings pre-installed.

I like the closed cage bearings instead of the open ones most knives come with as it keeps dirt and debris out and makes maintenance easier and less frequent
I feel the skiff bearings are superior in every way to almost every other bearing knife makers use.
Got these for my Hinderer xm24 and they are the best I've had. Knife opens with a crisp smack smooth as butter. If your thinking about it just buy them!!!

As usual, Skiffs made my new Jurassic as smooth as glass. I can always count on a noticeable difference for a small investment! I don’t know why OEMs like Hinderer don’t install these as a part of their production process. Thanks!
